Tell Us Your Love Story!
We met 22 years ago to the date of our wedding! We had both completed medical school residency training and then started our own medical practices. After training in different states, we finally got to be together in Florida.
Following the hard work on starting our practices, we decided to finally honor our commitment in marriage. It was immediate family only and a total surprise! They thought they were attending our engagement announcement. We almost didn’t even make it to our own wedding because a major blizzard hit Kentucky!
What elements were most important for your wedding day?
We are both from Kentucky and knew that’s where we wanted to get married. We wanted to be able to enjoy dinner with family and then stay overnight afterwards.
What advice would you give other brides?
An intimate setting makes the day memorable for what it’s really about; love for each other and love for your family.
