The Proposal
We went to Opening Day of Fall Keeneland 2019 with a group of friends and then Downtown Lexington for dinner. Before dinner, we decided to grab drinks at Bigg Blue Martini located inside Hilton Lexington/Downtown.
After drinks we walked across the street to the restaurant and all of my friends were using the crosswalk when Chas pulled me back in front of the Triangle Square fountain. He got down on one knee and proposed. All of my friends knew about this weeks ahead of time and came running back to celebrate!
Choosing our wedding venue
We needed an indoor venue to hold all of our guests and the glass floor at Limestone Hall was just an added bonus to the already beautiful venue!
Important elements for us
I planned every detail with my vendors so that it would be exactly how I wanted it. It all came together perfectly and was definitely worth the wait!
Advice for other couples:
Take your time planning and enjoy it. Once the wedding day comes, soak in every minute of it, it goes so quick! Hire a good photographer so you have your photos to bring back the memories for years down the road!
