How did you meet?
At the time we met, I was working for a clinic whose specialty was allergy and asthma. He was a client who required allergy injections. We started talking more with each visit which eventually developed into more than friendship. We had our first date in October 2012 and have been together since then.
How did he propose?
On the beach in Florida during sunset while he arranges for engagement pictures to be taken at the same time.
How did you choose your venue?
My fiancé did several weddings there. He took me to see it and I fell in love. Our wedding theme was perfect for the location.
How long were you engaged?
18 months
What elements were most important for your wedding day to you?
The location and making sure my vision of our Beauty & The Beast theme came across. We wanted it smaller and intimate for our guests to be comfortable and have fun. We wanted a relaxed atmosphere. Also that our colors, decorations, and venue all came together to gibe that true Fairytale feel. Most of all to be marrying my true love. As long as I had that I knew everything else would fall into place.
What advice would you give to other brides?
Weddings can be stressful, take your time and have a vision of what you want planned out. After all, all that matters about the day is you’re marrying your best friend.
