Tell us your love story!
We met working together when I was 19 and Ryan was 21. Ten years and two children later we decided to get married. We have grown up together; he is my best friend and soul mate. We wanted the ceremony to be small with our closest family and friends in the 1800’s church. It was beautiful, intimate and laid back.

How did he propose?
He proposed to me when we were having morning coffee together. It was very special. Ryan got down on one knee and told me he loved me and asked to marry me. After 10 years, he still surprises me and I thank God for him always. He is my rock, father of our children and I couldn’t ask for a better person to spend this life with.

How long were you engaged?
One year.

What elements were most important for your wedding day to you?
The flowers were very important. I wanted fresh flowers that stood out. I loved my bouquet; it was beautiful! I loved the atmosphere of the old church; it had so much history and character.

What advice would you give other brides?
Take lots of pictures! If someone offers his or her help, then take it. It’s your day, relax and enjoy it!
